Janet Kahunda, a resident of Mirihini Village used to have problems accessing water. Like many people around her village, she would have to leave home early to fetch water from the crocodile infested river that is far from her home. This paused a huge challenge for her because she would get back home late and her children would suffer because she would cook food very late. With the development of the Baricho Water Porject, Janet is able to easily access water allowing her to cook and prepare her children early enough.
