TPRM turns 30: conference highlights
Conference reviews evolution of Trade Policy Review Mechanism and future challenges
A conference held at the WTO on 27 November 2019 looked back at the achievements of the Trade Policy Review Mechanism over the past 30 years.
Looking to the future, participants concluded that the mechanism needs to adapt if it is to remain a critical tool for preserving transparency in global trade and for allowing members to better understand each other’s trade policies.
