The expansion of Outer Ring Road has benefited residents of Mathare North who experienced a lot of problems before where theft was rampant and the road had potholes forcing vehicles to get stuck. For Freshia Gatune, a resident of Mathare North who had previously relocated, she is happy the road has been fixed because business is booming, youth have gained employment, her rentals have tenants and vehicle maintenance is affordable.
